Where are you located?
We are located in Nocona, Texas. Our primary campus is located at 511 Cooke Street, Nocona, TX 76255. Our Family Life Center, where we have a number of activities, is located across the street at 601 Cooke Street.
What time is your Sunday service?
Small Groups and Sunday School classes begin at 9:30 AM for all ages. Sunday Morning Worship begins at 10:45 AM in our auditorium.
Where do I park?
Parking is available around the east and north sides of the building, in the parking lot across the street from the auditorium entrance and at the Family Life Center across the street to the north. We do ask that parking in front of the auditorium be reserved for those who have mobility issues or infants.
Is there something for my kids?
We have a Children's Sunday School Class at 9:30 and offer both nursery services and Children's Church during Sunday Morning Worship. We also have active Children and Youth Programs on Wednesday evenings. Check out links to those ministries on the website.
What does a typical service look like?
Our Sunday Morning Worship Service begins and ends with prayer. During the service we join together to worship through song (both older and newer hymns), the reading of scripture, and expository preaching from one of our pastors. Once a month we observe the Lord's Supper as a church body. When the occasion arises, we celebrate the baptism of new members and their identification with Christ and his church.
How do I join the church?
Joining FBC Nocona starts with a conversation with our pastors to hear about your own personal testimony of faith in Christ and to share with you about the privileges and responsibilities of church membership. After affirming your faith in Christ you would then join the church through baptism, transfer of letter from a church where you are currently a member, or a statement of faith. We encourage anyone interested in membership to contact us!
How do I join a ministry?
If you are interested in participating or serving in any of the ministries highlighted on our website, feel free to contact the church office or our pastors.
How can I get involved in serving?
We always welcome those that are willing to give of their time and talents by volunteering. Background checks are required for anyone ministering with minors. Opportunities to volunteer range from Childrens Ministry or Student Ministry on Wednesday evenings, donating your time in the Nursery, or helping to cook a dish for one of our evening fellowships or a funeral lunch provided for a grieving family. Just contact our staff and we can get you started on the path to serving in one of our ministries or teams!
