After serving as Minister of Music & Youth at First Baptist Church since November 2001, Dave was called to be Pastor on December 12, 2004.  Dave is a native Floridian (Go Gators!) and has served as Youth Minister at Normandale Baptist Church in White Settlement, TX, Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa, FL and most recently, First Baptist Church of Ocala, FL.  Dave graduated from Chamberlain High School (Go Chiefs!) and went on to receive a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Tampa (Go Spartans!) and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Go...Baptists!).  Dave has been married since September 1998 to Catherine (a Texas A&M grad...Go Aggies!), and little Charlie made the duet a trio in March of 2002.  Madeline Grace joined the action in June of 2004.  Dave's interests include music, college sports, and theological discussion.  Dave loves getting cookies, but likes getting email almost as much.  Please email him here.
